Vintage Children's Book Lot of 3 - Scholastic & Cornerstones of Freedom (1960s/70s) Condition: Distressed / Acceptable. Please see detailed notes and photos for each book. This lot includes three classic vintage softcover books. These have been well-loved and show significant signs of age, making them ideal for nostalgia, "junk journaling," paper crafts, or as affordable reading copies. 1. The Night Before Christmas (1970) Illustrator: Janet and Alex D’Amato. Format: Originally part of a "Book and Record Set" (Record NOT included). Condition: Significant wear. The top corner of both the front cover and the title page has been torn away/lost. Overall creasing and shelf wear. 2. The Pilgrims’ First Thanksgiving (1973) Author: Ann McGovern | **Illustrator: Joe Lasker. Condition: Heavily distressed. The spine is reinforced with brown tape. Includes ink markings (hand-drawn "C" shapes) on almost every page. A true "survivor" copy. 3. The Story of the Statue of Liberty (1965) Author: Natalie Miller (Cornerstones of Freedom series). Condition: Moderate to heavy water staining visible on the left side of the front cover and throughout the interior pages. Previous owner’s name ("Tom Huinker") written neatly inside. Shipping: Ships via USPS Media Mail in a stay-flat mailer or padded envelope to ensure they arrive as pictured.
