Vintage Astatic D-104 desktop microphone mounted on an Astatic T-UG8 stand, manufactured in Conneaut, Ohio, USA. The D-104 is a classic “lollipop” style communications microphone associated with vintage CB and amateur/ham radio equipment. Original identification labels are still present: Microphone: The Astatic Corp. — Conneaut, Ohio — Made in U.S.A. — Model D-104 Base/stand: The Astatic Corp. — T-UG8 Stand Includes the attached coiled cord with vintage-style connector as shown. Also included is the removable red knitted microphone cover shown in the photographs. The microphone grille underneath the cover is pictured separately so buyers can see its condition. APPROXIMATE SIZE Overall height with cover: approximately 12 in. Base diameter: approximately 6 in. Measurements are approximate and were taken manually. Please refer to measurement photos. IMPORTANT — UNTESTED This microphone came to us as a vintage pre-owned item. It has NOT been tested. We do not have the appropriate compatible radio/audio equipment to properly test its operation.
