Framed public notice poster titled “The Bicentennial Wagon Train Pilgrimage to Pennsylvania.” The design features bold lettering, an ornamental border, and an illustration of a horse-drawn covered wagon. The notice invites visitors to attend an overnight encampment and “rededicate Yourself to the Precepts of our Founding Fathers.” The following entries appear handwritten on the poster: Date: May 18, 1976 Encampment Location: The Daniel Boone Compound, Hillsborough, N.C. These details give the piece a specific connection to Hillsborough, North Carolina, and the Bicentennial Wagon Train event.
