Vintage Telechron Model 6B09 "Yachtsman" electric mantel clock with a nautical ship's-wheel design and mahogany tambour-style case. This model was produced from 1938 to 1942. The original rear factory label identifies it as Warren Telechron Co. Model 6B09, made in Ashland, Massachusetts, USA, and rated for 100/125 volts, 60 cycles, 2 watts. It features an analog dial with Arabic numerals, brass-tone ship's-wheel accents, and the original ship's-bell strike design. The clock has been tested and is working. The ship's-bell strike mechanism is a factory feature of this model, but its operation was not separately confirmed in the testing information provided. Good vintage cosmetic condition with age-related scratches, scuffs, finish wear to the wood, and wear/tarnish to the metal components. The vintage cloth-covered power cord also shows age.
