This lot features a charming collection of six (6) vintage porcelain collector plates featuring the authentic work of Sister Berta Hummel, produced by Schmid. These limited edition plates were made in West Germany and showcase the beloved, soulful illustrations synonymous with the Hummel name. The collection includes: 1971 Christmas Plate (First Edition): "Angel with Candle". This is the inaugural release in the Schmid Christmas series. 1973 Christmas Plate (Third Edition): "The Nativity". 1976 Christmas Plate (Sixth Edition): "Sacred Journey". 1977 Christmas Plate (Seventh Edition): "Herald Angel". 1978 Mother's Day Plate (Seventh Edition): "Afternoon Stroll". 1983 Christmas Plate (Thirteenth Edition): "Angelic Messenger". Condition Notes: Plates are in good vintage condition overall with vibrant colors. The 1971 plate shows some light brownish spotting/foxing on the back porcelain surface. The 1973 plate also has some minor spotting on the reverse side. Please review all photos carefully as they are part of the description. These make a wonderful addition to any Hummel collection or a thoughtful gift for the holidays.
