Vintage Made in USA Jack / Bench Hand Plane with Waltham-Marked Iron Offered here is a vintage metal woodworking bench/jack plane measuring approximately 14 inches long, with traditional wooden rear tote and front knob. The body is marked “MADE IN USA.” One of the included removable irons/blades is visibly marked “WALTHAM.” Because no clear manufacturer marking has been identified on the plane body itself, the plane is being listed as an unknown/unbranded maker rather than attributed to Waltham. Included Sale includes the vintage hand plane and the loose/removable components shown in the photographs. Among the pictured components is a removable iron/blade marked WALTHAM. Everything included in the sale is shown in the photos. No additional parts or accessories are implied. Condition This is an older, well-used tool offered in as-found vintage condition. It shows age-related and use-related wear throughout, including: Surface rust and oxidation Scratches, scuffs and marks Areas of worn/chipped black finish Dirt, dust and old residue Tarnish/discoloration on metal components Wear and marks to the wooden handles Wear/scratching to the sole Age and storage wear to the loose irons/components The wooden handles remain attached as shown and have visible cosmetic wear consistent with age and use. Several components have been removed from the plane and are photographed separately so the buyer can inspect what is included. Function / Testing The plane has not been fully tested in actual woodworking use. Blade sharpness, adjustment accuracy, tuning, alignment and overall woodworking performance have not been evaluated. The seller is not a specialist in antique/vintage woodworking planes and cannot guarantee that every component is original to the plane or that the present assortment represents the factory-original configuration.
