Vintage Wickes Corporation store charge card featuring Wickes Furniture, Wickes Lumber and Builders Emporium.Front displays the classic red and blue Wickes logo and reads:Wickes Furniture • Wickes Lumber • Builders EmporiumThe reverse states that the card was honored at Wickes Furniture, Wickes Lumber, Builders Emporium and other Wickes affiliated locations, and identifies Wickes Corporation, Wheeling, Illinois 60090.Original embossed cardholder information and handwritten cardholder signature are still present, making this an interesting surviving piece of vintage American retail and building-supply advertising history.Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition. Shows normal age and use wear including surface scratches/scuffs, light discoloration/soiling and edge wear. There is visible wear around the signature panel. No attempt has been made to clean or restore the card. Please examine all photographs carefully; they are part of the description.Sold strictly as an obsolete collectible/memorabilia item.
