Since 2022 the label has reinterpreted objects from the national collection as products for everyday use. This wine stopper was developed with the design studio frice for the 2025 special exhibition marking the 480th anniversary of Admiral Yi Sun-sin, and takes its form from the jeonrip — the combat hat worn by the three-province naval forces depicted in the museum's folding screen "Training of the Naval Forces."BrandMU:DS (National Museum of Korea)Model CodeJeonrip Helmet Wine StopperSet Configuration1 x wine stopper, guide leaflet, gift packageMaterialBody silicone / Ring alloy / Beads plastic / Tassel rayonSurface Finish & ColorMatte black body with red tassel and beaded chin strapInstallationPush fit — no tools requiredCountry of ManufactureSouth KoreaEAN / BarcodeDoes not applyWhat Is In The Box1 Jeonrip helmet wine stopper x 12 Detachable tassel and chin strap3 Bilingual product guide leaflet4 Official MU:DS gift packageSpecification MatrixItemSpecificationStatusProduct size71 x 71 x 61 mm (2.8 x 2.8 x 2.4 in) ConfirmedPackage size115 x 180 x 80 mm ConfirmedBottle fitGlass bottles with inner diameter 2 cm or less ConfirmedCompatible drinksWine, whisky, Korean traditional liquor ConfirmedCareHand wash the silicone body; keep tassel and beads dry Confirmed Not compatible with bottles whose inner neck diameter exceeds 2 cm, and not suitable for dishwashers.Five Reasons To Choose This Piece1Officially licensed museum design. Produced and sold by the National Museum Foundation of Korea, not a generic replica.2Drawn from a real collection piece. The silhouette follows the jeonrip in the museum's "Training of the Naval Forces" screen.3Sealing that actually works. The silicone body limits air contact and keeps an opened bottle fresher.4Doubles as a display object. Small enough for a shelf or bar cart when it is not sealing a bottle.5Gift ready on arrival. It ships in the official MU:DS package with a bilingual guide to the original artifact.Frequently Asked QuestionsQ1. How do I use and clean it?Press the silicone body into the bottle neck until it seats. Detach the tassel and chin strap before washing the body by hand, and wipe the tassel with a dry cloth only. Rinse once before first use.Q2. Will it fit my bottles, and what is included? It fits glass bottles with an inner neck diameter of 2 cm or less, which covers most wine, whisky and Korean liquor bottles. One stopper, a guide leaflet and the official package are included.Q3. Will I be charged customs fees in the United States? No. Orders to the United States are shipped Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), so import duties and taxes are prepaid and nothing further is collected on delivery.Q4. Is it safe for contact with drinks? The stopper was tested against the Korean Standards and Specifications for Food Utensils, Containers and Packages (KCL report CT25-006916K); lead, cadmium, phenol, formaldehyde and zinc migration were all within limits or not detected.
