For this release MU:DS worked with MUJAGI, the studio of ceramic artist Shim Bo-geun, to reinterpret Goryeo Dynasty celadon — described in its own time as green as jade and as radiant as crystal — as tableware for a modern table. Each piece is finished by hand in Korea and carries the jade-green glaze that made Goryeo celadon one of the most celebrated ceramic traditions in East Asia.Product SpecificationsBrandMU:DS (National Museum Goods, Korea)Model / LineGoryeo Celadon Dish Set, 2 piecesSet ConfigurationFlower-shaped dish 130 x 30 mm + footed flower dish 120 x 60 mmMaterialPorcelain (Goryeo celadon body and glaze)Surface Finish / ColorGlazed, jade green (bisaek)UseSide dishes, personal plate, desserts, yogurt and ice creamCountry of ManufactureRepublic of KoreaGift Package320 x 180 x 80 mm original museum gift boxWhat Is In The Box1Flower-shaped celadon dish, 130 x 30 mm2Footed flower-shaped celadon dish, 120 x 60 mm3Original MU:DS gift box with embossed celadon motif4Product information cardSpecification MatrixPieceDimensionsConfirmed UseFlower dish130 x 30 mmConfirmed — side dish, personal plateFooted dish120 x 60 mmConfirmed — dessert, yogurt, ice creamDishwasherSafeConfirmed by manufacturerOven / open flame / steamerNot permittedNot compatible — may cause crackingWhy Collectors Choose This Set1Official museum provenance. Ships in the original embossed museum box with no repackaging needed.Frequently Asked QuestionsQ1. Can I actually eat off these, or are they display only? They are functional tableware. The flower dish works as a side-dish or personal plate and the footed dish suits desserts. They are dishwasher safe. Do not use them in an oven, over an open flame, or in a steamer, and avoid stainless steel cutlery, which can scratch the glaze — brass, wooden, or silicone utensils are recommended.Q2. What exactly is included, and are the two dishes the same size? The set contains two different pieces: a flat flower-shaped dish measuring 130 x 30 mm and a taller footed flower-shaped dish measuring 120 x 60 mm, plus the original gift box and information card. They are designed as a pair, not as a matching duplicate set.Q3. Will I be charged customs duty when this arrives in the United States? No. This item is shipped to the United States under Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) terms, which means import duties and taxes are already included in the price you pay at checkout. Nothing further is collected on delivery.Q4. The glaze on my piece looks slightly different from the photo. Is it defective? No. These are handmade ceramics. Subtle glaze flow marks, small variations in color and gloss, an unglazed base where the piece met the kiln shelf, tiny air bubbles, dark iron spots, and a slight hand-finished tilt are all natural outcomes of the firing process and are not treated as defects by the manufacturer. Shipping & Returns Handling Time: We ship within 1-3 business days after cleared payment. Estimated Delivery: All packages are shipped securely with international tracking. Transit times may vary depending on the destination country and customs clearance processes. Please refer to eBay's official estimated delivery date at checkout. Customs and Duties For buyers in the United States: Import duties and taxes are included in the item price or shipping cost. Items shipped to the U.S. are sent under the Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) method, which means all import-related charges are prepaid. You don't need to pay any additional fees when your order arrives. For buyers outside the United States: Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying.
