Vintage Sloan quartz anniversary/torsion-style mantel clock with a clear glass dome and brass-tone finish. Made in Germany with a West Germany seven-jewel battery movement. The clock has been tested and keeps time, and the rotating ball pendulum operates as shown in the video. The brass-tone finish shows tarnish, discoloration, spotting, dust, scratches and other surface wear consistent with age and use. The glass dome has light marks but no obvious major cracks or chips.IMPORTANT OPERATING AND SHIPPING INFORMATION:The battery will be removed from the clock and packed separately for shipping. After receiving the clock, reinstall the battery using the correct polarity. The clock may not begin operating immediately. If necessary, gently reposition the battery to ensure proper contact, then gently rotate the ball pendulum by hand in both directions to start the movement. Do not force any components.The clock must be placed on a completely level, stable surface. An uneven or unstable surface may prevent the pendulum from rotating properly.
