Closo Wholesale vs B-Stock

B-Stock is a network of B2B liquidation auction storefronts. Retailers and brands run their own storefront on the platform and auction their returns, overstock and shelf-pulls to approved business buyers, mostly by the pallet and the truckload.

How you buy Fixed price, with an offer button on most lots. Liquidator auctions run alongside for the lots that suit them, so bidding is a choice rather than the only door. Auctions. Each storefront lists lots and buyers bid; the highest bid at close wins. Buyer accounts are registered with the marketplace and some storefronts approve buyers before letting them bid.
Who you buy from U.S. liquidators and wholesalers, each with a public profile showing its order history and its buyer reviews, and an entry in the public supplier registry with its manifests on file. The retailer or brand itself, through its own branded storefront on the platform. The counterparty is the seller behind that storefront rather than a liquidator reselling its goods.
Manifest and claims Manifested lots are priced line by line; the rest carry an Unmanifested or Assortment badge and no per-line estimate, and the badge is on the card before you open it. On a manifested lot a claim is raised against the manifest line inside the order, not by email, and it is settled from the money still held in escrow. It depends on the storefront. Some lots are manifested line by line, others are described by category, unit count and condition mix. Lots are generally offered as-is, and what happens when a load does not match is set by the selling storefront's terms.
Payment protection Escrow on every order. Closo holds the payment; the supplier is paid after delivery and after the acceptance window closes, not before. Payment runs through the marketplace under its own buyer terms, with the dispute process set per storefront. There is no published buyer-held escrow release of the kind described in the left-hand column.
Acceptance window 5 business days after delivery to count the lot against the manifest and open a per-line claim. No single marketplace-wide inspection window is published; each storefront states its own policy on discrepancies.
Shipping Parcel lots are rate-shopped to your ZIP; pallet and LTL lots are quoted to your ZIP before you commit. Either way freight is a number you see rather than one you discover. Freight is the buyer arrangement in most storefronts, quoted or booked per lot; pallets and truckloads move LTL or full truckload.
Fees to the buyer The price printed on the lot is the price you pay. Nothing is added on top of it at checkout except shipping and tax. A buyer's premium is added to the winning bid. The rate is stated per storefront rather than once for the whole marketplace.
Net terms Net 60 terms for approved buyers, applied for from the marketplace itself. No marketplace-wide net terms programme is published for buyers.
Reviews on the platform Verified-buyer reviews on every supplier profile, scored on quality, fulfilment and communication. Closo also publishes a supplier registry covering the wider U.S. pallet trade, including companies that do not sell here. Storefronts belong to the retailers themselves, so there is no per-supplier buyer review score to read before you bid.
Resale data Every manifest line is priced against what Closo resellers actually sold the same brand and category for on the resale market. The Manifest Analyzer prices any manifest for free, including one from another marketplace. Lots carry retail or MSRP value and a condition description. Resale prices, sell-through and days-to-sale are not part of a listing.

Marketplaces change their terms without announcing it. Everything in the right-hand column is public information read from their own pages, and it is right only until they edit them — check the current terms on their site before you bid or buy.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask

What buyers ask before moving inventory from one marketplace to another.

Answers describe Closo from its own code. Anything they say about B-Stock is as published on their site at the time of writing, September 2026.

Is Closo cheaper than B-Stock?

That is not a question anyone can answer honestly in the abstract, and this page will not try. An auction price depends on who else is bidding that day; a fixed price does not. What is comparable is the arithmetic afterwards: on Closo every manifest line carries the resale median, the typical range and the sell-through Closo resellers actually achieved, so you can work out the margin before you commit rather than after the pallet lands.

Do I need approval to buy on Closo?

No. You can browse lots, read the manifest and see the freight quote to your ZIP without an account, and buy without waiting for a storefront to approve you. Net 60 terms are the one thing that needs an application.

What happens if the lot does not match the manifest?

You have the acceptance window in the table above to count the lot and open a claim against the specific manifest line that is short or misgraded. The money is still in escrow at that point, so the difference is settled from it before the supplier is paid.

Should I use both?

Plenty of buyers do, and there is no reason not to. If you are already bidding on B-Stock, the Manifest Analyzer prices a manifest from anywhere for free before you bid, which is useful whether or not you ever buy a lot here.
