How you buy Fixed price, with an offer button on most lots. Liquidator auctions run alongside for the lots that suit them, so bidding is a choice rather than the only door. Auctions, with a buy-now price on part of the catalogue. Bidding is the main route.
Who you buy from U.S. liquidators and wholesalers, each with a public profile showing its order history and its buyer reviews, and an entry in the public supplier registry with its manifests on file. The marketplace operator and the sellers listing on it, which include retailers, manufacturers and public agencies. The mix of counterparties is broad.
Manifest and claims Manifested lots are priced line by line; the rest carry an Unmanifested or Assortment badge and no per-line estimate, and the badge is on the card before you open it. On a manifested lot a claim is raised against the manifest line inside the order, not by email, and it is settled from the money still held in escrow. Both manifested and unmanifested lots are listed, and the listing says which. Lots are generally sold as-is, with discrepancies handled under the marketplace's own dispute terms.
Payment protection Escrow on every order. Closo holds the payment; the supplier is paid after delivery and after the acceptance window closes, not before. Payment is made to the marketplace under its published buyer terms rather than held against a buyer acceptance decision.
Acceptance window 5 business days after delivery to count the lot against the manifest and open a per-line claim. No marketplace-wide inspection window that holds the seller's money is published; the dispute terms describe what can be raised and by when.
Shipping Parcel lots are rate-shopped to your ZIP; pallet and LTL lots are quoted to your ZIP before you commit. Either way freight is a number you see rather than one you discover. A shipping estimator is offered on listings, and freight can be arranged through the marketplace or by the buyer.
Fees to the buyer The price printed on the lot is the price you pay. Nothing is added on top of it at checkout except shipping and tax. A buyer's premium is added to the winning bid, stated in the listing terms.
Net terms Net 60 terms for approved buyers, applied for from the marketplace itself. No standard buyer net-terms programme is published.
Reviews on the platform Verified-buyer reviews on every supplier profile, scored on quality, fulfilment and communication. Closo also publishes a supplier registry covering the wider U.S. pallet trade, including companies that do not sell here. Seller ratings exist inside the marketplace. There is no independent public registry of the selling companies outside it.
Resale data Every manifest line is priced against what Closo resellers actually sold the same brand and category for on the resale market. The Manifest Analyzer prices any manifest for free, including one from another marketplace. Manifests carry retail or MSRP values and condition codes. Resale prices, sell-through and days-to-sale are not part of a listing.

Marketplaces change their terms without announcing it. Everything in the right-hand column is public information read from their own pages, and it is right only until they edit them — check the current terms on their site before you bid or buy.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask

What buyers ask before moving inventory from one marketplace to another.

Answers describe Closo from its own code. Anything they say about Liquidation.com is as published on their site at the time of writing, September 2026.

Does Closo sell the same categories?

No, and it is worth being plain about it. Closo Wholesale is clothing, footwear, accessories and adjacent general merchandise, because that is where the resale data behind every lot comes from. For pallets of tools, vehicles or agency surplus, a general surplus marketplace is the right place and this one is not.

Why does Closo show resale prices when other marketplaces show retail?

Because retail value tells you what the goods once cost somebody else, and resale value tells you what you can get for them. Closo runs a crosslister for resellers, so it can measure what the same brand and category actually sold for on the resale marketplaces and print that on the manifest line instead of an MSRP.

Is my money held until I check the lot?

On Closo, yes: it sits in escrow through delivery and the acceptance window in the table above, and per-line claims are settled from it. That is a Closo statement, not a claim about how anyone else operates.

Can I price a Liquidation.com manifest before bidding?

Yes. The Manifest Analyzer takes a pasted manifest from anywhere, prices it line by line against real sold listings and gives you the estimated resale value and sell-through. It is free, needs no account, and nothing you paste is stored.
